WHAT IS GBIS
The Great British Insulation Scheme is a UK government initiative aimed at improving energy efficiency in homes. Launched to help households reduce energy bills and carbon emissions, the scheme typically provides grants or financial support for insulation measures, such as loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, and other energy-saving upgrades.
The program targets low-income households, helping them make their homes warmer and more energy-efficient. It also plays a role in the UK’s broader goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. If you need more details about eligibility, application processes, or specific measures covered, feel free to ask!
